construction1The US Nuclear Fleet is experiencing a significant new wave of capital investment. The drivers for this investment come from the economics of Extended Power Uprates, plant aging and life extension, equipment obsolescence, and nuclear new build. This work load, combined with the nascent pressure from our new build renaissance is driving a new wave of plant infrastructure development. Utilities are now faced with a combination of power block modifications, new plant expansion, and installing new infrastructure to support this investment. A great majority of this work involves non safety related construction activities outside the Power Block. New and/or renovated site administrative buildings, new office buildings to accommodate increased levels of site personnel, warehouses, new and expanding ISFSI’s and Horizontal Storage Modules, cooling towers, substations, etc. are all examples of the types of construction activities that TriVis Townsend Constructors can deliver to meet the stringent safety, design, and quality demands of our utility customers. We combine our extensive nuclear experience and well managed overhead structures to provide high quality, low cost construction services versus the traditional major contractor’s high overhead and total cost structures.
