TriVis Inc. was established by David Bland in 1999. David built a company from a dream that focused on excellence in the design, supply, and management of high level nuclear waste handling services. Starting from that initial product line and target client base, TriVis formed a team of professionals that became the industry benchmark for safe, predictable and low dose delivery of HLW service solutions. From that beginning, through both internal growth and acquisition, TriVis Inc. has emerged as one of the premier nuclear services firms in the US market. That same dedication to safety, quality, and absolute reliability that drove the HLW business is now embedded in our Engineering, Construction, Substation, Telecommunications, Manufacturing Surety, Staffing Services, and Project Controls Divisions.

TriVis has carved a unique reputation in the Utility Services industry by aggressively controlling costs while delivering our clients the safest, highest quality, most cost effective product that consistently meet schedule and cost commitments. Adherence to these values has allowed TriVis to grow and expand to meet your needs.

In 2002 TriVis acquired Power Substations Inc. In 2005 TriVis expanded its engineering services to address ISFSI design and licensing, and opened a subsidiary offering professional staffing services. In 2006 we expanded our internal NDE and inspection services to our external clients. In 2007 TriVis expanded its construction capability to communication facility design through some key staffing additions. By 2010, our Communications Services business has branched off to become a multi-million dollar design and construction delivery team with branches located in Birmingham, AL, Phoenix, AZ, and Salt Lake City, UT. Key teaming alliances have been signed with two of the three leading dry cask manufacturers so that TriVis now delivers waste handling services across all of the major designs.

In 2009, a strategic alliance was formed with Townsend Constructors, creating TriVis Townsend Constructors; a Power Industry focused construction alliance with experience in Horizontal Storage Module Erection, ISFSI Construction, Power Station Infrastructure building design and construction, and Substation erection.

Also in 2009, the Manufacturing Surety and Project Controls Product Lines were added to the Utility Business Unit to create the current, integrated TriVis team. That team is growing in size, experience, and breadth, but remains true to the TRIVIS foundation values of uncompromised Safety, Quality, and Reliability.
